About Me

Husam is a man of peace ("Calmness of mind is a beautiful jewel of wisdom.  It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control"). 

I love to travel to places of historical significance and uniqueness.  I enjoy photography and playing chess while listening to music from around the world. 

I'm an electrical & computer engineer with a doctorate (Ph.D) in Computer Science (USA educated and trained).

I started my career at an early age while attending college in 1980 at the NASA Remote Sensing Laboratory at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas (USA), as a member of the Ground Radar Crew.  

Then, I kept progressing from a network administrator, to a mainframe administrator, then  a Computer Center Manager.  Few years later, I got into C-level positions: Professor, Senior Telecom Advisor, Vice President, then Chief Information Officer.  

I’m a strategic IT Planner or a “think tank” as I've been called.  I have the “mind-set” and the “skill-set” to influence my company's success.  I lead by example. I'm easy going, but firm. I'm a straight shooter.

I owe all my success to both my mother & father; who taught me by example (practiced what they preached) the following essentials pillars of success:

1. Trust & Fear of  God (day and night)
   
2. Honesty (with oneself and others)
   
3. Dedication (to one's goals, family, and work which is the source of income) 
   
4. Vision (its our brains that differentiates us from animals and others)
